The Garden Rooms

The Garden Rooms is one of five places to stay here at Old Montrose. It's in our garden, next to the Montrose Basin nature reserve. You're about three and a half miles from the town centre.

It's a converted potting shed. One half is a huge conservatory, so it's very light. The other half has the kitchen, a shower room, and the bedroom. It sleeps two. The bed is on the ground floor.

The rating is 5 Star. It's comfortable and well finished. The shower room is a walk-in shower. It's wheelchair accessible, with parking right outside.

You have your own patio area. You also have access to our big walled garden, which is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs. There's a hard tennis court and a small putting green you can use.

You can take up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a TV, and WiFi. The wood-burning stove is nice in the colder months.

Montrose has a big sandy beach. The town has shops, a pub, and places to eat. The nature reserve is right on the doorstep for birdwatching. Good beaches like Lunan Bay and St Cyrus are about a 20-minute drive. For golf, Carnoustie is about half an hour away. St Andrews is just over an hour.
