Grieve's Cottage

Grieve's Cottage is in Old Montrose, just outside the town. It's in our own grounds, next to the Montrose Basin. It's one of five cottages here, but they’re all separate. You get your own space.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It’s a 5 Star place, which means it’s comfortable and done to a good standard. Everything's on one level except the bedroom, which is up a flight of stairs.

It’s open plan downstairs. There's a woodburning stove for cosy nights. The bedroom is a decent size with an en-suite shower. The place is wheelchair accessible at the entrance.

You have a private garden. You’re also welcome to use our big walled garden here. There's a hard tennis court and a little putting green you can use.

The Montrose Basin Nature Reserve is right on the doorstep. Good for walks and watching birds. The town and the beach are about three and a half miles away. There's a shop, a pub, and places to eat there too.

If you want to explore, there are a lot of golf courses around. Carnoustie and St Andrews are within an hour's drive. For a really good beach, Lunan Bay is about twenty minutes away. Arbroath and St Cyrus are good too.

What's here: parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
