Grieve's Cottage
This is Grieve's Cottage. It's in the grounds of our main house here in Old Montrose, near the nature reserve. There are a few other cottages nearby, but you've got your own space and it's quiet.
It's a detached cottage for two people. One bedroom, with an en-suite shower room. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well finished. The living area is open plan downstairs, the bedroom's upstairs. It's quite spacious.
You can bring one dog. The garden outside is yours, and it's enclosed. There's parking right by the door.
Being where we are, you get all kinds of birdlife from the Montrose Basin. It's peaceful. The centre of Montrose is about ten minutes by car. There's a big sandy beach there, and a few shops and places to eat. The beach is good for walks.
If you're into golf, there are lots of courses nearby, including the famous ones like Carnoustie and St Andrews. For good beaches, Lunan Bay is about twenty minutes south.
You get access to our big walled garden, which has a tennis court and a little putting green.
Inside, it's got a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included.
