India Lane Cottage is a first floor flat on a quiet lane in Montrose. It's a two minute walk to the beach road. You can see the sea from the top windows, but it's not right on the sand.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got the 4 Star rating so it's in good order. The shower is fine.
The layout is on two floors. You come in to the living room, kitchen, and dining area. Then stairs go up to the bedrooms. The stairs are a standard indoor staircase, not a ladder or anything, but they are a bit tighter than in a modern house.
It's light inside. I've kept the decoration simple.
You can walk to the town centre in about ten minutes. There's a decent High Street with shops and a few places to eat. The local pub is on the way. For golf, the Royal Montrose links is practically at the end of the lane. You can walk there.
The beach is sandy and long. Good for a walk even if it's not sunbathing weather. The RSPB reserve at Montrose Basin is just along the coast. If you're interested in history, the Montrose Air Station Heritage Centre is worth a visit.
If you want to drive out, you're about half an hour from the start of the Angus Glens for walking. Aberdeen is just under an hour north. Dundee is about 40 minutes south.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and the TV has the main channels. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
