Sheildaig Cottage Annex St Cyrus

This is Shieldaig Cottage Annex. It's in St Cyrus, which is on the coast just north of Montrose. The annex is attached to our house, but it's completely separate. You've got your own front door and everything.

It sleeps four in two king size bedrooms. One bedroom and the shower room are on the ground floor. The other bedroom is upstairs. There's also a second living room upstairs with a sofa. The views from there are good. You can see the fields and a bit of the sea.

It's a 4 Star place, so it's well kept. Everything works. The kitchen has what you need. There's a washing machine in a utility room by the side door, which is handy for wet coats and boots.

Outside, there's a patio with a table and chairs. It's enclosed, so it's safe for dogs. We allow up to two pets. The garden looks out over open fields. It's quiet.

St Cyrus beach is about two miles away. It's a big sandy beach, really good for walks. The village has a shop, a coffee shop, and a hotel that does food. The nearest pub is about five miles away.

If you like walking, the St Cyrus National Nature Reserve is right there. It's good for birdwatching. For a different walk, you can drive into the Angus Glens. They're within half an hour.

The towns of Montrose and Stonehaven are both about a fifteen to twenty minute drive. Montrose has golf courses and a wildlife centre on the basin. Stonehaven has a nice harbour and you can get boat trips from there.

Inside, bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside.
