Seashore Retreat is in Johnshaven, right on the front. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level, which is handy.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The back garden is enclosed and has a patio area. There's also a summerhouse out there, which is a good spot if the weather's a bit mixed.
You can see the sea from the living room. The patio doors open onto the decking. The bedrooms are at the back, so it's quieter, but you can still hear the sea. It's a bungalow, so the rooms are all on the ground floor. There's parking on the drive.
In the village, there's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about a quarter of a mile away. The beach is about 100 yards down the road. The harbour is just there.
Stonehaven is about a 15-minute drive south, and Montrose is about the same north. Dunnottar Castle is near Stonehaven and is worth a visit. Catterline, a bit further south, has a good pub by the sea.
Aberdeen and Dundee are both within an hour's drive if you need a bigger city.
Facilities wise: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's bicycle storage. No pets, sorry.
