This cottage is called Harbour View, which is exactly what it is. It's right on the harbour in Johnshaven. It's a fisherman's cottage, newly done up.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so everything is in good order and comfortable. You can bring one dog.
You look straight out over the harbour. That's the main thing about it. The living room has a wood burner, which is good for darker evenings.
The front door opens right onto the village street. There's a restaurant next door that's handy, and a Lobster Shop a few doors down sells fresh crab and things like that. You can watch the boats from the window or from the harbour side.
If you want to go further, Stonehaven is up the coast. That's where the outdoor heated pool is, and Dunnottar Castle. For a walk, the Angus Glens aren't far. Montrose is south, about a twenty minute drive, for beaches.
The cottage has a washing machine, a shower, and wifi. The bedding and towels are included. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but it's an old cottage so the internal layout has steps and the usual quirks.
