Orchard Chalet
Orchard Chalet is near Luthermuir in Aberdeenshire. It's a detached wooden cabin at the end of a small apple orchard, so you get that bit to yourselves. The view from the back is across fields towards the Angus Glens.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main room is open plan. There's a wood burner, which is good for cooler days. The patio at the side is enclosed, so it's private. You get all your bedding and towels.
You're in the countryside but it's not remote. Edzell village is a short drive away. It has a few shops and places to eat, and a golf course. Laurencekirk, with a train station and more shops, is about five miles.
The Angus Glens are right on your doorstep for walking. For the coast, St Cyrus and Lunan Bay are about a half hour drive. Montrose is a bit further.
Facilities: there's Wi-Fi, parking right outside, a shower, and a washing machine. You can store bikes. It says 'Christmas Themed' which means we put up some decorations in December. No pets.
