Howe Cottage
This is Howe Cottage. It's on a quiet street in Laurencekirk. Semi-detached, sleeps four, two bedrooms upstairs. You can have them both as doubles or one as twins, whatever suits. One bathroom downstairs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is straightforward, clean and comfortable. The floor is wood throughout. There are french doors from the living room that open out to the patio and a small enclosed garden.
There's a shop and a place to eat about 350 yards away. A pub is about 700 yards. They're handy.
You're well placed here for getting out. You can drive to the coast in about fifteen minutes. Montrose beach is that way, St Cyrus is south. Cairn o' Mount gives you good views over to the sea. If you want a proper walk, the Angus Glens are about half an hour's drive.
Stonehaven is a twenty minute drive. They've got an outdoor swimming pool there, which is popular. The train station in Laurencekirk is a short walk, so you can get the train to Aberdeen or Dundee for a day out.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, and everything you need is on the ground floor except the bedrooms. You can bring up to two dogs.
