Lochside House
Lochside House is in Letterfearn, right on the shore of Loch Duich. It's a detached house, no neighbours attached. You get the place and the garden to yourselves.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and well equipped. The main thing is the view. You get it from most rooms.
It's a good spot if you like being outside. You can walk or cycle from the door. The Five Sisters mountains are right there. For sailing or messing about on the water, you're right on the loch. Eilean Donan Castle is a ten minute drive up the road if you want to see it.
The closest pub doing food is at Shiel Bridge, about five miles. There's a shop and fuel at Inverinate, a few miles past that.
If you fancy a day out, Plockton village is about half an hour's drive. Glenelg is similar, and from there you can get the seasonal ferry over to the Isle of Skye. You're in good walking country here, too.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, parking, WiFi, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if needed. No pets I'm afraid.
