Tigh-An-Achaidh is in Inverinate. It's a detached cottage, so no one attached on either side. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves. It looks out over the fields toward the loch.
It sleeps six in four bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star place, which means it's clean and comfortable but not fussy. It's bright, with a modern kitchen. The lounge has wood panelling, which keeps it feeling traditional and cosy, especially with the woodburning stove going.
The setting is the main thing. You're right in the middle of sea lochs and mountains. The Kintail mountains and the Five Sisters are right there if you're a walker or climber. Plenty of wildlife around too.
You're about five miles from Loch Duich and Loch Alsh. The crossing to the Isle of Skye is a short drive from there. Plockton and Lochcarron are a nice drive along the coast. Glenelg has a good beach.
There's a shop half a mile away. The nearest pub is in Dornie, about three miles. They do food.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and parking. We provide bedding. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The garden is enclosed. No pets, sorry.
