Rosdail is a detached cottage up on the hill above Inverinate. It looks out over Loch Duich towards the Kintail mountains. The view is really the main thing. There are big doors and windows on that side to make the most of it.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It's well kept and comfortable. There's an open plan living area downstairs with a wood burning stove. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
You can get straight onto a footpath from the cottage. It's a good walk with the castle in view. Eilean Donan Castle is a few minutes' drive away, it’s the one you see in all the pictures. The local shop is about half a mile, and there's a pub and restaurant two miles away.
You’re in a good spot for exploring. Glenelg village and the brochs are not far. You can take the ferry from there over to Kylerhea on Skye. The road to Applecross, Bealach na Bà, is about an hour's drive. It’s a famous pass on the North Coast 500 route. For walking, the Five Sisters of Kintail are right there. The National Trust for Scotland looks after a lot of the local paths and sites.
Inside, it’s got what you’d need: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them. Parking is on site. No pets, sorry.
