Loch Duich Cottage
Loch Duich Cottage is in Inverinate, just off the main road by Loch Duich. It's a white, single-storey house. The garden goes right down to the loch, into its own little bay.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's all on one level, but there are a couple of small steps inside.
The view is the main thing. You look straight out over the loch towards the Skye bridge and the mountains. We've seen otters from the garden a few times. There's parking right outside.
The local shop is half a mile up the road in Inverinate. Kyle of Lochalsh is about a 15-minute drive for supermarkets. The National Trust for Scotland's Kintail estate is right there for walking. The Five Sisters are behind you.
Eilean Donan Castle is ten minutes away. You can drive over to Skye in maybe 25 minutes from here, depending on the bridge traffic. Plockton is about half an hour. Glen Shiel and Glen Affric are close by for more serious walks.
Inside, it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The whole place is wheelchair accessible.
