Loch Duich Cottage. It's in Inverinate, right on the edge of the loch. You get about an acre of garden that goes down to its own little bay. The views are good. You're straight out across the water to Skye and the Five Sisters are behind you.
It sleeps six, three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not particularly fancy.
The garden is mostly grass and heather. There's a family of otters that lives around the bay, you see them quite a lot. You can fish from the shore if you want to, mackerel mostly.
For walking, you're right in the middle of it. The National Trust for Scotland Five Sisters area is basically on the doorstep. For climbing, Glen Shiel is a few minutes up the road.
The nearest shop is about half a mile away in Inverinate. Kyle of Lochalsh, where you get the ferry to Skye, is about fifteen minutes by car. Eilean Donan Castle is ten minutes away.
Inside, there's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking for two cars right outside.
The wet room and the layout mean it works if someone has limited mobility. There are grab rails by the toilet and in the shower.
No pets, sorry.
