Island Bay View
Island Bay View is a bungalow in Sallachy, on Loch Long. It's detached. The views over the loch to the mountains are what it's really about. It's very quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything works.
You get your own track down to the bay. Otters are often on the shore there. You can just watch them from the window sometimes.
The shop and the pub are three miles away in Dornie. The pub does meals. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Kyle of Lochalsh.
Eilean Donan Castle is about ten minutes by car. The road to the Isle of Skye starts just past it. Plockton is lovely for a wander, maybe half an hour's drive. Applecross is a bit further, but the coast road there is an experience.
If you like walking, you're right in it. The Glenelg Brochs are interesting old structures if you're into history. For gardens, Attadale is nearby.
It's got what you'd need: parking, wifi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you're bringing a little one. No pets, I'm afraid.
