Seaside Cottage is in Inverinate. It's one of a group of three single-storey bungalows on the shore of Loch Duich.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and both bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms, which is handy. Everything is on one level, and the doorways are wide. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main thing is the view. You look right out over Loch Duich to the Five Sisters of Kintail mountains. There's a patio and a garden that's just for this cottage.
There's a shared wooden walkway that goes down to a small wildlife hide at the water's edge. We've seen seals and porpoises from there. A pine marten visits the gardens most evenings, which is a bit special.
There's a shop a few minutes walk away, and a local pub. The village of Kyle, where you cross the bridge to Skye, is about a 15-minute drive. They've got shops and a good seafood restaurant.
You're well placed for exploring. The Isle of Skye is about 20 minutes away by car. The dramatic Falls of Glomach are a drive and then a walk, but they're incredible if you're up for it. For general planning, the Visit Scotland Skye page is useful.
For facilities, it's got the basics covered: parking, wifi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Sorry, no pets.
