Ashburn Cottage
Ashburn Cottage is in Sallachy, near Loch Long. It's detached, which means it's quiet. You're about 50 yards from the loch. The view from the front is across the water towards the mountains. It's a proper view.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not a show home. It's got a wood burning stove, which is good for chilly evenings. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. You've got an enclosed garden with a patio. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
The place is quite isolated. The nearest shops and pubs are in Dornie, about three miles away. Eilean Donan Castle is also about three miles. It's the one you see in all the pictures.
You can walk straight out the door. There are paths by the loch. For beaches, you need to drive a bit. Plockton is about twenty minutes away and is nice. The Isle of Skye bridge is about a thirty minute drive if you fancy a day trip over there.
No pets, sorry.
