The Lodge At Edenbridge

The Lodge is in Downside, on the Mendip Hills. It's detached, up a track on its own, so it's quiet. You've got your own driveway and a garden that's fully enclosed.

It sleeps four, but it's one bedroom. There's a good sized sofa bed in the living area. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's high spec and everything is pretty new.

The main thing is the view. You're on the side of a hill, so you look out over fields. The big doors in the bedroom and living room make the most of it. It has underfloor heating, a wood burner, and the shower is a walk-in with a heated floor. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a wine cooler.

Outside there's garden furniture, a wood-fired BBQ, a bit of lawn, and a boules pitch. There's also a kids' play area on site.

You're about ten minutes from Glastonbury by car. The Tor is the obvious walk. Wells is fifteen minutes away, the cathedral is worth seeing. For a longer day out, Cheddar Gorge and the caves are about half an hour's drive. The coast at Weston-super-Mare is roughly the same.

The property allows up to two pets. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there.
