This is Moorlands. It's in the village of Chilcompton, near Shepton Mallet. A detached house, so no neighbours attached. Sleeps up to eleven people in five bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, one is on the ground floor.
It was refurbished a couple of years ago. It's a 5 Star place, so it's in good order. The main living space is open plan: kitchen, dining, living area. Doors lead out to the garden. The kitchen has a boiling water tap and a wine fridge. There's a utility room with a washer and dryer.
Upstairs, the bedrooms lead off a galleried landing. One room has a double bed with a single bunk above it. Two bathrooms are up there, one has a walk-in shower and a stone bath. The garden is large, mainly lawn. There's a river that runs around the edge. It's fenced, but you'd want to keep an eye on kids and dogs.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a hot and cold dog wash outside. There's also a vegetable garden you're welcome to use. Parking is on the driveway, and there's an electric vehicle charger.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk. It serves food.
For days out, Bath and Wells are both about a half hour drive. Bath has the Roman Baths and the Abbey. Wells is a small city with a cathedral. Glastonbury and the Tor are closer, maybe 15 minutes. Clarks Village in Street is about 20 minutes away if you want to shop. Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole Caves are also within half an hour.
