The Stable is in Carlingcott, on the edge of our garden. It's a detached stone building, used to be a stable a long time ago. It’s all on one level.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bedroom and the living room both have doors straight out onto the patio. The garden is yours to use. It's private.
Inside, it's nice. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's underfloor heating, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The shower is a walk-in one with a seat and a grab rail.
You can bring one dog. We have a small friendly dog ourselves, so we're used to it. There's bicycle storage if you need it.
The village is quiet. There are footpaths straight from the gate into the fields and woods. The nearest shop is about a mile away in Peasedown St John. There's a good local pub about a ten minute walk, and several more within a few miles drive.
Bath is about six miles away. That's a 15-20 minute drive depending on traffic. Everything is there: the Roman Baths, the Abbey, shops. The National Trust has a few places nearby like Prior Park.
If you want to go further, Bradford-on-Avon and Frome are nice for a wander. Wells and the Cathedral are about 40 minutes. The Mendip Hills are good for walking, and Glastonbury Tor is within half an hour.
Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. That's about it.
