Eastwood Lodge is on the edge of Bath, on a hill. It's detached and was built in the 18th century, originally for a gardener. It sleeps three people, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and has what you need.
The main thing is the view. You look right out over the city. There's a rooftop terrace, so you can sit up there with a drink and see for miles. The view is the best bit.
You can walk into Bath from here. It’s about a 20 minute walk down. Walking back takes longer. It's a very steep hill, so you need to be okay with that. There’s a bus stop nearby too, if you don’t fancy the walk back up.
Inside, it’s got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. There's a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. The garden is yours to use.
For things to do, you’re in Bath so you’ve got the Roman Baths, the Abbey, the Royal Crescent, and all the shops and restaurants. On foot or a short drive. For walks from the door, National Trust Prior Park is close. Dyrham Park is about a 20 minute drive.
Further out, within about 30 minutes, you can get to Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, and Bradford-on-Avon. Cheddar Gorge and Longleat are a bit further, maybe 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.
No pets please. There's parking at the property.
