Bramble Cottage is in Foxcote. It's a detached single-storey barn, so all on one level. You've got a big garden to yourselves. It's very quiet out here, just fields.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything's open plan inside.
There's a pub about half a mile down the lane. Decent food. The nearest shop is a mile and a half away though, so you'll want to bring supplies.
You're about ten miles from Bath if you want the city. Good for the architecture and history. In the other direction, you've got the Mendip Hills for walking. Chew Valley Lake is close if you like fishing or just a walk by the water.
If you're driving out for the day, Longleat, Stourhead, Wells Cathedral, and Cheddar Gorge are all within a half hour. Maybe 35 minutes to Cheddar.
For facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
