Ty Crwt is a small cottage attached to the main house here at Delfryn. It sleeps two people in one bedroom. There's one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The name means 'the boy's shed', which fits. It's cosy. The floor downstairs is original flagstone, and there are stone walls. It keeps things cool in summer. There's a kitchen area, a table, and a sofa by the window. Upstairs is the double bed and another small sofa. The stairs are quite steep, just so you know.
You're free to use the big communal lawn out the front. We're on a fair bit of land, with fields that go down towards the sea. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is at the bottom of those fields, so you can walk straight onto it. The nearest beach is about a mile away.
We're between Solva and St Davids. Solva has a harbour, some good places to eat, and a few shops. St Davids is the city, which is small but has a cathedral, more places to eat, and supermarkets. Both are about a five-minute drive.
If you're interested, the people in the main house sometimes run art courses. Things like pottery or painting. You can ask about that when you're here.
Facilities: there's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. They like the fields.
For planning days out, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority site is useful. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastal spots nearby too.
