Kimcraigan Lodge
Kimcraigan Lodge is one of those lodges on the banks of Loch Ness. It's just outside Lochend.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable. The hot tub on the deck is right there with a view of the loch. The patio doors from the living space and the bedroom open straight out onto that deck. It's a good spot.
The place is detached, so it's just you. It's open plan inside, with a kitchen at one end. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
Lochend beach is about a mile down the road. The village of Drumnadrochit is a ten minute drive away for shops and places to eat.
You're on the loch side for local walks. For a day out, Urquhart Castle is close by. Inverness is about half an hour's drive if you want a city, with the castle and theatres there.
