The Penthouse Westhaven is on the seafront in Aberdovey. It's a duplex apartment, so it's over two floors. The main views are over the Dyfi Estuary and the sea.
It’s a 5 Star place, which means it's well-finished and has everything you need. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one with two 3ft singles. There’s a bathroom on each floor. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath.
You need to be aware of the stairs. They're quite steep and they’re open tread, so they might not suit very young children or anyone unsteady on their feet. The balcony has low railings and the decking can be slippery when wet. Just something to know.
The beach is right across the road. It’s a long, sandy beach, good for walking. The village high street is a minute’s walk away. There are shops, cafes, and a few decent pubs for food.
If you’re into golf, Aberdovey Golf Club is less than a mile away. For mountain biking, the Dyfi Forest trails are about eleven miles inland. Tywyn, which is four miles up the coast, has the Talyllyn Railway steam trains. They’re good for a wet day.
In the apartment, you’ve got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s WiFi and parking.
