This is High Tide. It's in Aber Tafol, which is on the hillside above the Aberdovey Estuary in North Wales. It's a detached lodge.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One double and one twin. There is also a bed settee in the lounge if you need a fifth spot. The bathroom has a full-sized bath with a shower over it. The place has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's clean and tidy.
The main living space is open plan. Kitchen, dining area, and lounge all together. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a foldaway table for meals. Patio doors lead out to a terrace which is enclosed. You get the morning sun out there. The view is over the estuary and the woods, it's very peaceful.
It's a good spot if you like being outside. Footpaths and cycle routes go straight from the door into the woods and along the estuary. You'll see red kites overhead. Horse riding and fishing are available locally. The coast and the beach at Aberdovey are a few minutes' drive down the hill.
Aberdovey has shops, places to eat, and a golf course. From there you can drive to Cadair Idris or Dolgellau in under half an hour. The Talyllyn Railway is in Tywyn, which is also close by. For nature, the Dyfi Osprey project and the RSPB Ynyshir reserve are within a 30 minute drive.
Facilities: All bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking for two cars. One well-behaved dog is welcome. We can provide a highchair if you need one.
