Tigh Na Mhuillean is in Gairloch. It's a big, detached house. It sleeps ten, in six bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main point is the view. The front looks out over Gairloch Bay toward the Torridon mountains. You can sit inside and just watch the weather change over the water.
The layout is a bit unusual. The kitchen and a living area are on the ground floor. Then there's another small seating area on the first-floor landing. It's useful if you've got a lot of people and someone wants a quieter spot.
It's a five minute walk down to the beach. It's sandy and good for a proper walk. You can bring one dog. There's a pub within walking distance too.
Gairloch itself has the basics: a couple of shops, a petrol station. The Gairloch Heritage Museum is interesting if you want to know about the area.
For a day out, Inverewe Garden is about twenty minutes' drive south. The boat trips from the pier are good for seeing seals and sometimes dolphins.
The house is on the NC500 route, so it's a handy base if you're exploring. You can drive up to Ullapool or down to Torridon in under an hour for some spectacular scenery.
At the house, you've got parking, a garden, a washing machine, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
