Eilean View (Island View)
Eilean View is in Inverasdale, up in Wester Ross. It's a detached bungalow so everything is on one level. The name's spot on. You look straight out over Loch Ewe to the islands and the mountains on the other side. The view is the main thing.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-kept. It's not a show home, but it's proper clean and everything works.
You're a few miles from Poolewe and about nine from Gairloch. Gairloch has shops, a couple of pubs, places to eat. The beaches round here are stunning. Red sand, clear water. Big Sands at Gairloch is about seven miles, I think. The coast is just there for walking.
The Inverewe Garden is a ten minute drive. It's lush, even in the rain. Worth a visit. If you're walking, the whole area is good. Beinn Eighe is further east, maybe 40 minutes.
For facilities: it's got parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a garden area out front to sit in. No pets, sorry.
