The Narrows
The Narrows is in Poolewe. It's right on the river Ewe, detached, with its own garden. It's quiet. You're on the side of the North Coast 500 route here, which is a very scenic bit of road.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. Because it's on a slope, the living area is on the first floor. You get a good view of the river from up there.
There's a shop and a pub about a mile away. The beach at Inverewe is about five miles. The famous Inverewe Garden is just up the road, maybe five minutes in the car. It's run by the National Trust for Scotland.
You see a lot of wildlife here. Otters, sea eagles. Pine martens sometimes come to the picnic table outside. You can walk straight from the door along the river or into the hills.
Golf, fishing, that sort of thing is all local. It's a good spot if you want to get out on the water or go walking. The coast around here is all bays and islands.
For facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. Parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
