Deo Na Mara is a bungalow in Inverasdale. It’s on the west coast, looking right out over Loch Ewe. The view from the main windows is the main thing. It’s just you and the water and the hills on the other side.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s got a 3 Star rating. Everything works, it’s clean and warm, but it’s not fancy. The living room has big leather sofas to look at the view from. The kitchen table is good for a family meal. The heater in there is a proper Stanley range, which keeps the place toasty.
You've got your own garden, which is enclosed. It's a good spot to sit out. The property is detached, so no neighbours attached.
The hamlet itself is very quiet. The nearest shop and pub are about four miles away in Poolewe. For a day out, the Inverewe Garden is ten minutes by car. It's spectacular, especially if you think nothing can grow up here. You can get boat trips from Gairloch to see seals and whales. The beaches along this coast are some of the best, with white sand. You can launch a canoe from the slipway right opposite the cottage.
If you're here to walk or bike, you're in the right place. It's all mountains and coastline. For planning, the Walkhighlands site is very useful.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
