Morlich is a bungalow in Gairloch. It's a detached house, set a bit higher up so you get good views. It's quiet, down its own lane.
It sleeps six, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Because it's all on one floor, it's quite practical if you don't want to deal with stairs.
The main room is open plan, with big windows. You look straight out over Gairloch Bay to the Isle of Skye. There's plenty of seating and a decent-sized dining table. The kitchen has what you need.
The garden is mainly lawn, with some shrubs. There's a separate bit down some low steps that's more of a wild garden. It's all enclosed.
You can walk straight from the house onto the local paths. The village shops, a couple of cafes, a pub and restaurants are about a five-minute walk away. The nearest beach is about the same.
The area is known for its beaches, like Big Sand which has those big dunes. You'll often see dolphins or seals from the shore. There's local golf, and you can arrange boat trips from the pier.
If you're driving, the Torridon hills are about half an hour away for serious walking. The Inverewe Garden is also within a half hour drive. It's worth seeing the palm trees there, it's unusual for this far north.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
