Grinills is in Opinan, near Gairloch. It's a detached bungalow. The views are good, straight out over the Minch to Skye. It's quiet.
It was updated recently with a new kitchen and furniture. It sleeps six, three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not a show home.
The beach is sandy and about a five minute walk down the lane. There's no shop in Opinan. The nearest are in Gairloch, about nine miles away. The first pub is at Badachro, three miles from here. Gairloch has a few places to eat, and the area's known for good coffee shops.
You'll see a lot of wildlife from the windows, seabirds mainly. Dolphins and whales are often in the Minch. The Torridon mountains are behind you if you want to walk. There's a golf course in Gairloch.
For a day out, you can drive to Ullapool, or over to Plockton. Eilean Donan Castle is about an hour away. Skye is accessible for a trip, though you'll need to set off early. Inverness is a good two hour drive.
Facilities: there's parking, an electric vehicle charger, a wood burning stove, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to three dogs.
