Grinills Opinan

Grinills is a bungalow in Opinan. It's detached, so no one next door. You look out over the Minch to Skye. The view is the main thing.

It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. We updated the kitchen and living room furniture a couple of years ago. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not a show home.

You're a few minutes' walk from a sandy beach. It's a proper beach, good for a walk or just sitting. The nearest pub is at Badachro, about three miles away. For shops, you need Gairloch, which is nine miles.

You can see dolphins and seabirds from the coast here sometimes. The Torridon mountains are in the background if you're walking. There's a nine-hole golf course in Gairloch. Horse riding is available at Red Point.

For a day out, Ullapool is about an hour's drive. Plockton and Eilean Donan Castle are within reach too. Inverness is the best part of two hours if you're going that far.

Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. We can take up to three dogs. There's an electric vehicle charger.
