Camus Na Harry is a bungalow just outside Gairloch. It's completely on its own, down a single-track road. You're looking right out over Loch Gairloch and you've got about four acres of ground, mostly wild, that goes right down to a wee shingle beach.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy. Because it's all on one level, there are no stairs at all. It's a 3 Star place.
The setting is what it's about. You get pine martens coming up to the windows, sometimes at dusk. You'll often see otters or seals out in the bay. The views from the main room are pretty special.
There's a decent restaurant you can walk to, about a mile along the road. Gairloch itself is five miles away. That's where you'll find a supermarket, petrol, a few shops and a sandy beach. You can hire boats or book trips from there or from Badachro.
Inside, it's clean and comfortable. There's a woodburning stove for the evenings, and underfloor heating. It's got a washing machine and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are there. Parking is right outside.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust for Scotland pages are useful, and so is the Wester Ross website.
