Hillside is on the outskirts of Gairloch. It's got a view across the bay to the mountains and out to Skye. Genuinely, on a clear day, it's very good.
It sleeps six, maybe seven if you use the extra put up bed. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's rated 3 Star. It's clean and comfortable. The garden is big, with a patio and furniture so you can sit out there.
You can walk to the village. There's a pub, a fish and chip shop, a butcher, and a small supermarket. It's handy. You don't have to drive for everything.Gairloch itself has a nine hole golf course right by the beach.
From here you can drive south to Torridon or Applecross. The Bealach na Bà road to Applecross is about thirty minutes away, but check the conditions. North takes you up towards Ullapool and Assynt, which is wild and empty country.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. The bedding and towels are included. There's parking. One well behaved dog is allowed. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but it's worth noting it's a bungalow with a step into the main living area, so check if that works for you.
