Seashell Lodge is in Opinan, on the coast near Gairloch. It's a detached house, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The view is the main thing. You get a wide view of the sea from the front. It's elevated, so you look out over the water.
The place is open plan downstairs. There's a deck area outside with a table and a BBQ. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can bring up to two. Parking is right there.
There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is there but it can be slow, like most places up here.
For the area, you're right on the coast. There's a beach a short walk away. Gairloch has shops, a petrol station, and places to eat. It's a few miles drive. The National Trust for Scotland has sites nearby if you're interested in history. For walking, you're on the Walkhighlands network. Boat trips for wildlife watching leave from Gairloch pier.
If you want to drive out, Ullapool is about an hour south. Inverness is just over an hour and a half to the east.
