Curlew Cottage
Curlew Cottage is in Settlingstones, Northumberland. It's a modern bungalow on our property, one of three we rent out here. We live on site too.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and everything works as it should. Because it's a bungalow, there are no stairs to worry about at all.
You get your own little garden patch with the cottage. There's also a larger shared garden area with a BBQ and some extra seating. If you're booking with friends or family, you can rent all three cottages together to fit up to ten.
You're right on the edge of the Northumberland National Park here. Hadrian's Wall is about three miles away. It's good walking country, and the skies at night are very dark. The village of Haydon Bridge is a couple of miles down the road for a shop or a pub.
Hexham is about a twenty minute drive. It's a proper market town with a good abbey and supermarkets. Corbridge is a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes. Both are handy if you need supplies or want a meal out.
For facilities: there's parking right outside, WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
