This is Inglenook Lodge. It's on a caravan park near Beck in Cumbria. The park is quiet, mostly a field with a few other lodges spaced out. You're detached, so no one right on top of you.
It sleeps four. One double bedroom with its own toilet, and a twin room. One main bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star lodge, so it's comfortable and modern. Everything's open plan, kitchen, living area, dining. French doors open out onto a deck that's fully enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. The deck gets the sun in the afternoon.
The park has a playground for children. It's very peaceful. You're surrounded by fields.
You're right on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Crummock Water is a few minutes' drive away. It's quieter than the big lakes. Good for a walk or a paddle. For a proper day out, Keswick and Derwentwater are about half an hour's drive. Cockermouth, where Wordsworth's house is, is even closer.
The west coast is about twenty minutes away. St Bees has a good beach. Whitehaven harbour is worth a look. If you want history, Hadrian's Wall is under an hour.
