Angel Cottage is near Felindre, in Powys. It faces south so you get the sun and a good view of the Black Mountains and Hay Bluff. It's a ground floor place, all on one level.
It's been done up recently, so everything's new and clean. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower room. The floors are oak, which might be a bit noisy if you've got kids running about. The main room has big doors that open onto the deck.
The deck is pretty good. It's got a table and chairs, and a BBQ. You can sit out there in the morning. It's quiet, so you'll hear the birds.
It's a rural spot. You're on a working farm, so you might see sheep in the fields. There's a riding school about a mile away if you want to go horse riding.
Hay-on-Wye is about six miles away. You probably know it's all bookshops and cafes. The festival is in May and June, and it gets very busy then, but it's a good atmosphere. Brecon's a bit further, about eleven miles. It's a proper town with shops and a cinema.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. You can walk up onto the hill from here if you want. The National Trust looks after a lot of the land around here too.
Included in the place: all the bedding and towels, wifi, a smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine. There's parking right outside. No pets, I'm afraid.
