House In The Hills is near Tregoyd. It's in the Brecon Beacons National Park, about five miles from Hay-on-Wye.
It's two buildings, a stone farmhouse and a converted barn, joined together. Sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The kitchen is big. Granite worktops, an island, good appliances. There's a big oak table in the dining area. The main living room has a very large open fire. Underfloor heating throughout.
The bedrooms are comfortable. Two bathrooms, one has a claw-foot bath and a large walk-in shower. Oak floors and stone floors in places.
Outside, there are several terraces with good furniture. The views are of the valley and Hay Bluff. The Gospel Pass road is right there.
The location is quiet. You're up in the Black Mountains. Walking and cycling starts from the door. Mountain biking, horse riding, all that is nearby. For more extreme things like caving or canoeing, you'd drive to the Wye Valley.
Hay-on-Wye is the nearest town, about ten minutes by car. It's all bookshops and a few places to eat.
Facilities: everything on the list is there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking. Two dogs are allowed. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot.
