The Huts In The Hills
The Huts In The Hills are in Tregoyd, just north of the Brecon Beacons. It's four shepherd's huts set in a field, backed by woods. There's a stream.
It sleeps eight, in four huts. Three of the sleeping huts are together, the fourth is separate across the field. That one's good if some of you want a bit of distance, or for putting kids to bed early. There's one central hut with the kitchen and bathroom.
It's a 4 Star place. It's glamping, so it's comfortable but it's not a house. You're in huts. They're well made, solid and dry. The bathroom is eco-friendly.
You've got a big outdoor table under a canopy and a fire pit with a barbecue. The kitchen hut has what you need. There's a games room too.
The location is the main thing. You're right in the hills. You can walk from the door. Hay Bluff and Twmpa are right there. For maps and ideas, Brecon Beacons National Park is the site to use. National Trust Wales has nearby places like the Sugarloaf Gardens.
Hay-on-Wye is about a 25 minute drive. That's for the bookshops and cafes. The ruins of Llanthony Priory are a similar distance, up the valley.
Facilities wise: everything's included. Bedding and towels. There's a cot. No pets, sorry.
