Penmaen
Penmaen is in Talgarth. It's a semi-detached cottage, built in 2019. We live next door. It sleeps five, in three bedrooms.
There are two bathrooms. One is a wet room on the ground floor, next to a single bedroom that has patio doors to the garden. The main bathroom upstairs has a shower over the bath. There's also a garage round the back which is handy for storing bikes or kayaks.
The living room is L-shaped, and leads into the kitchen diner. It's got a TV. The whole place is done to a good standard. It has a 4 Star rating.
You can bring one dog.
The town has a few pubs, a shop, and some restaurants about a hundred yards away. Brecon is about nine miles east. You've got the cathedral and the museum there, and plenty of cafes. The National Trust and Brecon Beacons National Park sites are useful for planning walks. Pen y Fan is in that direction too.
Hay-on-Wye is eight miles west. It's all bookshops and nice places for coffee and cake. They hold the book festival there.
Facilities wise: parking, WiFi, washing machine, bedding included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The garden is enclosed. It has some wheelchair access features like grab rails and a level entrance, but the stairs to the first floor are standard cottage stairs.
