Beacons Cottage
Beacons Cottage is near Pontithel, just outside the Brecon Beacons National Park. It's a detached cottage, so you're on your own. There's a bit of garden and a patio.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
You're right between Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, each about ten minutes in the car. Hay is good for books, has nice cafes, and a market. Brecon is a bit bigger, has a cathedral and a museum. The famous book festival is in Hay.
The walking is the main thing here. You're on the edge of the national park, and the Offa's Dyke Path and Wye Valley Walk aren't far. You can hire canoes or cycles locally if you want.
Facilities are all there: wifi, TV, dishwasher, parking. Bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
