This is Gwrlodde. It's an old farmhouse, fully redone inside a couple of years ago. It's just outside Talgarth, which is a small market town in the Brecon Beacons. You can't see other houses from here, it's properly rural.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. All the beds have USB sockets by them. One bedroom is a bunk room, and there's a single room with a daybed that pulls out. The main two bedrooms have zip and link beds so you can have them as twins or doubles.
Inside, it's modern. Underfloor heating everywhere, which is great in winter. There's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has an island and everything you'd need, and there's a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The garden is enclosed, which is good for kids or dogs. You can park three cars on the gravel. The view from the front is just fields.
Talgarth itself is five minutes down the road. It's got a couple of pubs that do food, a shop, and a really good community-run watermill with a café. The town is a good starting point for walks. The Brecon Beacons National Park is right there.
Anything else you'd want to see is within half an hour. Hay-on-Wye for books, Brecon for the canal and more shops, Crickhowell. There's a local golf course.
We include all bedding and towels. We can provide a cot and highchair. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. The Wi-Fi works.
For planning, the Visit Wales site and the National Trust Wales pages are useful.
