The Scales

The Scales is nestled within an enviable spot boasting sublime sea views, this detached apartment is adjacent to the owner’s home and has been renovated fully in 2021 and command some truly amazing views across the headland and out over the turquoise waters with North Wales and Ireland being visible on a clear day. The dramatic coastline of North Pembrokeshire with sandy coves, rugged bays and some fantastic walks from your doorstep, the Puffin shuttle bus also stops by the door and is perfect for getting around this majestic coastline on foot. The beaches of Abermawr and Aberbach are close by, explore the rock pools, coves and caves and don’t forget the barbecue.
The Scales has been recently renovated to a very good standard throughout and is all set on the first floor via twelve steps, as you reach the seating area you are greeting with those amazing sea views, as you enter this bright and airy open plan kitchen, dining and living room you feel at home, it’s the perfect couples retreat. On an evening you can curl up on the sofa with a good movie and enjoy the wood burner roaring. The king size master bedroom has been lovingly furnished with a good nights sleep in mind and enjoy a large Velux window with sea views. Enjoy a good book on the terrace and take in those everchanging views.
Strumble Head light house Is close but and a few minutes’ drive you will find the quaint coastal village of Goodwick, home to a small selection of local shops and traditional Welsh pubs, with fine ale and home cooked food always on the menu. The harbour town of Fishguard, 3 miles, has a host of restaurants focusing on local produce and fresh line-caught bass. Locally you can spot dolphins on a boat trip from nearby Cardigan. Inland you will stumble across the majestic Cenarth Falls which, if you time it right in the Autumn, you can see the salmon and sea trout leaping up the falls. Beach 2 miles.
