Garden Cottage
This is Garden Cottage. It's in Camserney, Perthshire. When you're here, you're basically on the estate of Castle Menzies. You get pretty good views of the castle itself from the cottage.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's a converted stone cottage, so the ceilings downstairs are nice and high, but mind your head on the upstairs door frames.
The main thing is the garden access. You get your own key to the castle's walled garden. It's a quiet spot, completely private. You can just wander in whenever you like.
The local shop is about two miles away in Aberfeldy. There's a pub about a mile and a half down the road. It does food.
For things to do, you're in a good spot. You can walk straight onto the paths around the castle estate. Aberfeldy town is a few minutes' drive. Loch Tay is close by for watersports. If you want a big day out, Gleneagles is about half an hour's drive south, and Edinburgh is just over an hour.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. Woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine. WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right next to the cottage.
You can bring up to two dogs. We provide a stairgate and a highchair if you're coming with kids.
