Garden Cottage
Garden Cottage is at Castle Menzies, near Aberfeldy in Perthshire. It's a stone cottage in the grounds of the castle, which is from the 16th century. You get a good view of it from the garden.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up nicely inside. The garden is private and you also get access to the castle's walled garden.
Weem, the nearest village, is about a mile and a half away. There's a pub and restaurant there. The shop is in Aberfeldy, two miles away. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Perth.
You're right in the middle of things for walking or cycling. Loch Tay is close by for water sports or fishing. There's golf nearby too, including Gleneagles which is about half an hour's drive. Edinburgh is just over an hour and a half if you fancy a day trip.
The cottage has a woodburning stove, dishwasher, and washing machine. There's a TV and WiFi. Parking is right outside. It's set up for families: we provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a garden for them.
