This is Kenmore Lodge. It's a semi-detached house at the quiet, eastern end of Loch Tay. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the loch to the mountains. It's good.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Two bathrooms, which is handy. The rating is 5 Star. I keep it clean and well-maintained.
You enter on the first floor into the main living area. It's all open plan, with a wood burner. Patio doors open onto a balcony at the front for the view, and a terrace at the back for morning sun. Downstairs on the ground floor there's a utility room for boots and coats, plus the bedrooms.
The village of Kenmore is a short walk away, maybe 10-15 minutes. It's a conservation village with a pub, a shop, and places to eat. There's a small beach on the loch. You can hire kayaks and paddleboards. The Tay is famous for salmon fishing.
Aberfeldy is about six miles along the road. It has proper shops, a cinema, a whisky distillery, and a good bookshop.
If you like walking, you're right in the middle of it. Ben Lawers and Schiehallion are close. The National Trust for Scotland looks after the Ben Lawers area. For mountain biking, there are trails in the local forests. You can find information on activities through Perthshire.
The facilities are what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, parking. Towels and bedding are included. The garden is enclosed. You can bring two dogs.
