Anemone
Anemone is in Kenmore, Perthshire. It's a semi-detached cottage, sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star cottage, which means it's well looked after and comfortable.
You come in on the first floor into the main living area. It's open plan with a wood burner and a big TV. The kitchen's there too. There are patio doors out to a balcony at the front, with a view down to Loch Tay, and another set out to the garden at the back.
Downstairs has the bedrooms. The main one has a four-poster bed and its own bathroom with patio doors to the garden. There are two other bedrooms and a family bathroom. There's also a utility room with a washing machine, which is handy for coats and boots.
Kenmore village is a few minutes' walk away. It's a pretty place on the edge of Loch Tay. There's the Kenmore Hotel, which is the oldest inn in Scotland, a shop, and a post office. You can do water sports on the loch or just go for a walk along it.
If you want to go further, Aberfeldy is about six miles. It's got proper shops, cafes, a cinema, and the Dewars distillery. For outdoor stuff, there's mountain biking, horse riding, and the golf course at Taymouth Castle. The Highland Safari company is based nearby if you want to see wildlife.
Around here you're good for walking. The Rob Roy Way goes through the area, and you're close to Ben Lawers for a proper hill day.
Facilities: it has the washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and parking for two cars. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
