Frith View is near Keltneyburn in Highland Perthshire. It's a detached, modern lodge. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. All the bedrooms are en suite, which is handy.
The main thing is the view. It overlooks a small loch and a deer park. The living room has big windows so you can just sit and watch it. There are patio doors out to a private deck.
The place is on a 35-acre estate with a few other holiday lodges. You get there via a rough track, just so you know. The loch is good for wildlife.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-sorted. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. We allow one dog.
For getting out, you’re right in the middle of it. There are seven Munros within ten miles, including Ben Lawers. The forest tracks are good for cycling and mountain biking. Walkhighlands is a good site for routes.
Kenmore village is about five miles away, at the end of Loch Tay. They do boat trips and watersports there. Aberfeldy is twenty minutes by car. It's got a supermarket, some nice shops, places to eat, and the Dewar's distillery if you like whisky.
If you want to see wildlife, there's a Highland safari company nearby that does trips. For history, there are a few castles and gardens within a half hour drive. The National Trust for Scotland looks after Ben Lawers.
The nearest shop is about nine miles away. The closest pub or restaurant is about eight.
