Glengoulandie Lodge is near Keltneyburn, between Aberfeldy and Pitlochry. It's a detached bungalow, so all on one level. You look out over a loch and a deer park. The view is good, lots of hills and water, and it changes with the weather.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and each has its own bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's well finished. Everything feels new. Underfloor heating, high ceilings, big windows. The main living area has patio doors that open onto a big deck. The deck is fully enclosed.
You're right on the edge of the deer park. You'll see red deer, ducks on the loch, squirrels, that sort of thing. There's a circular walk you can do from the door, around the loch and through the park. For something bigger, Schiehallion is just down the road. There are seven Munros within ten miles if that's your thing.
Aberfeldy is about twenty minutes by car. It has a Co-op, some decent places to eat, a good bookshop, and a little cinema. The Dewar's whisky distillery is there if you want a tour. Pitlochry is about the same drive the other way. Kenmore, at the top of Loch Tay, is nice for a wander and has water sports if you're interested.
For planning, the National Trust for Scotland Perthshire page is useful, and so is the official Perthshire site.
Facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking. The deck has garden furniture. It's wheelchair accessible. We take one well-behaved dog. Bedding and towels are included, and we can provide a cot and highchair.
