Toadhall

Toadhall is in Aberfeldy. It's a stone cottage from around 1890, semi-detached, so the neighbours are right next door. You've got your own little courtyard out the front that gets the sun, and a small private bit of grass behind it.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-kept. There's an open fire in the dining room and a wood burner in the living room. The stairs are normal cottage stairs, so they're a bit steeper than modern ones.

The town centre is a few minutes' walk. There's a Co-op for food, a good bookshop, cafes, and places to eat. The local pub is about 400 yards away. The community campus is close too, with a swimming pool and gym if you fancy it.

You can walk straight from the door. The river path is nice for a flat stroll. For something a bit steeper, the Birks of Aberfeldy walk is a loop through the gorge. For proper hills, Ben Lawers and Schiehallion are a short drive away.

Loch Tay is about ten minutes by car. You can get boat trips from there, or go to the Scottish Crannog Centre. The Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery is on the edge of town if you want a tour. Castle Menzies is just outside the town.

For things further out, Pitlochry is about twenty minutes south. Dunkeld is maybe thirty. Perth is around forty minutes' drive.

Facilities wise: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Parking is on the street right outside. No pets, sorry.
