Mill View
Mill View is an apartment in Aberfeldy. It’s right on the main street but it’s at the back of the building, so it’s quiet. You have your own enclosed garden out the back and a balcony off the main bedroom.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well looked after. The living space is all open plan, which is good if you’re all in together. There’s a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
You’re a minute’s walk from the shops, places to eat, and the pub. The Birks of Aberfeldy walk starts just over the bridge, and the town park and swimming pool are close by. For fishing or a walk along the river, it’s all on your doorstep.
Loch Tay is about ten minutes’ drive west. You can go sailing or just walk along the shore. Glen Lyon is a beautiful drive, maybe twenty minutes away. It feels very remote.
If you want to go further, you can be in the Cairngorms National Park in under an hour for walking. Dunkeld and Birnam are about half an hour south, good for a wander and something to eat. Perth, Stirling, or Dundee are all within an hour’s drive for a bigger day out.
For facilities: there’s a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs. There’s bike storage if you’ve brought them.
