Cluny is our lodge near Aberfeldy in Perthshire. It's detached, so no one on the other side of the walls. You get the decking area and a bit of garden to yourselves. The views are good, looking out over the valley towards the hills.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everything's on one level and there's a ramp to the front door, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. There's a wood burner for the cooler evenings.
You're out in the fields, but it's only about a twenty minute walk into Aberfeldy along the road. The town has what you need: a Co-op, a good butcher, a few places to eat. The Birks of Aberfeldy walk is nice, right from the town centre. You can be at the golf course in five minutes by car.
Pitlochry is about a fifteen minute drive north. They've got the theatre there and you can watch the salmon at the dam. For a proper day out, you're close to lots of walking. Ben Lawers is a big hill nearby if you're that way inclined. The Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park starts not far to the west.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, towels and bedding are included, there's parking right outside, and WiFi. You can bring up to two dogs.
